Stop Recommending Debian to Newbies

A seasoned Linux user telling a newbie to try Debian is like a CEO telling an employee that timeshares are a good investment.
My theory is that as one becomes used to Linux, their workflow feels intuitive and obvious, but they forget that it is couched in decades of experience/troubleshooting.
Do not start your journey on Debian, or Arch or some obscure immutable distro with little buy-in from the community. Use Mint or Pop!_OS or Bazzite and bounce around after you get the hang of things.
